CORO POLIFONICO DI GIAVENALE
Directed by Pierdino Tisato, since 1978, year of foundation, he devoted himself to the study of the sacred and profane renaissance polyphony, observing a model of specific vocality e strictly adhering to the historical period.
The constant artistic evolution soon brings him to include the major romantic and contemporary authors in the repertoire, up to most significant avant-gardes.
Appreciated by the critics for vocality, stylistic adherence and interpretative skills, the choir has held and held numerous concerts in Italy and abroad, also accompanied by teams instrumental, for the execution of works of the Baroque and classical period, among which the worth mentioning the speakers of G. Carissimi, Dido and Aeneas by H. Purcell, speakers, motets, masses and sung by Johann Sebastian Bach, The Messiah by G. F. Haendel and the Requiem in D minor by W. A. Mozart.
Several prizes and appreciations have marked the artistic path of the ensemble, achieved during national and international competitions and exhibitions.
The recognized quality of its performances is expressed in frequent invitations to concerts, international polyphonic festivals and events – Orta, Bergamo, St. Blasien (Friborg), Galuppi Festival (Venice), the most recent, with prestigious vocal groups and instrumental.
The choir has made recordings for important labels such as Rainbow Classics, Casa Musicale Eco, ELLEDICI and on several occasions has appeared in RAI services and other broadcasters and national television channels.
Organist and choir conductor, he studied in Vicenza with Masters De Marzi, Bolzonello Zoia, Benetti, Russolo and Tacchetti.
Graduated from the Conservatory of Venice in Organ and Organ Composition and in that of Verona in Choral Music and Choir Direction, he perfected himself with the musicians Langlais, Radulescu, Zerer, Innocenti, Cozza (Organ), Vesselinova, Tamminga (Harpsichord), Descev (Direction of orchestra).
He performs as a soloist organ and harpsichord collaborating with chamber ensembles, obtaining public and critical acclaim in Italy and abroad, distinguishing itself for the execution of interesting monographic programs dedicated to the organ especially to Bach and Franck. Of the latter author, in 2012 he produced the complete organ on double box set CDs and DVDs playing an exclusive HAMMOND Model RT-3 Organ.
He is often invited to Italian conservatories as a commissioner external to the diplomas of Organ and organ composition and in the 1st and 2nd level commissions. National competition winner in terms of qualifications and exams, he has taught Organ and Canto Gregorian in the Conservatories of Cosenza and Latina and since 2004 he is the owner of the Conservatory Vivaldi of Alessandria.
